Scope of work
We were awarded the systems upgrade project for the access control, CCTV, FIDS and paging systems for VIA in September of 2014. The project timeline was to complete the upgrade without customer or operations disruption in 90 days. This was a major renovation of all special systems excluding fire alarm and required extensive coordination with a variety of subcontractors.
We rebuilt the command center and installed the Identiv access control system and Vicon IP based VMS as well as the ComNet Flight Information Display and Paging systems. The security systems were expanded to the remote side of the airport where the General Aviation (GA-FBO) resides through the use of microwave transmission.
